Who we are
This website is operated for The French Fry Finders on a booking platform that provides scheduling, invoicing, and related tools to small service businesses. In this policy, “we” and “us” refer to The French Fry Finders; the platform provider processes data on our behalf as described below.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to provide our services:
- Booking details — when you book an appointment we collect your name, email address, phone number, the appointment date and time, and any notes you choose to add.
- Service address — because we travel to you, we collect the address where the service will take place and use it to calculate travel distance and any travel fee.
- Vehicle details — information about your vehicle that you provide during booking, used to prepare for and price the service.
- Questions and inquiries — if you use our contact form we collect your email address, phone number (if provided), your message, and any photos you attach.
- Reviews — if you leave a review after an appointment we collect your name, email address, and the text of your review. Your review is displayed publicly only if you check the box giving us permission to do so.
- Technical data — our servers record IP addresses for rate limiting and abuse prevention. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
How we use your information
We use your information to schedule and deliver the services you book, to send you transactional emails about your appointments (confirmations, reminders, changes, invoices, and review requests), to respond to your inquiries, and to keep accurate business and tax records. We do not send marketing email, and we never sell or share your personal information for advertising.
Cookies
The public parts of this site work without tracking cookies. The only cookies we set are functional session cookies that keep our own staff signed in to the business management area.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only with the service providers below, and only so they can perform services for us:
- Email delivery (Resend) — all transactional email is sent through Resend, which processes the recipient address and message content to deliver it.
- Google Maps Platform — service addresses are sent to Google to calculate travel distance, and the address field on our booking form uses Google’s address autocomplete in your browser.
- Platform provider — the booking platform that operates this site hosts our data on our behalf and receives copies of invoices for billing and support purposes.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.
How long we keep information
We keep booking and invoice records for as long as we need them to run the business and meet legal obligations such as tax record-keeping. Information we no longer need is deleted, and you can request deletion at any time as described below.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We honor these requests for all of our customers regardless of location. To make a request, email us at thefrenchfryfinders@gmail.com. We will need to verify your identity — typically by confirming the email address on your booking — before acting on a request, and we will respond as required by applicable law. Note that we may need to keep certain records (such as invoices) where the law requires it.
Children
Our services are intended for adults. This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services change. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision, and meaningful changes will be visible on this page.
